This QQ looks like a mosquito with mouth wide open. WHAT AN UGLY CRAP. If this was advertised in US, people will make fun of this Crap day and night in Auto-Websites and Magazines. It remind one of the Yugoslavian Car, YUGO that was introduced in the mid s. Suffice to say, it took the brunt of all the jokes.

Now Seriously this car has serios problems as being posted by the its owner on Chery QQ experience thread.
To start with lets analyse the KNOCKING SOUND as more than one owner has confirmed.
It is mainly due to ENGINE Crankshaft manufactured poorly. I know this from experience. I owned an American LINCOLN Continental , that had the same Engineering flaw, ENGINE KNOCKING. Although comparing AMERICAN MADE Linloln with that PIECE of Crap QQ would be an insult to Lincoln, since LINCOLN is a truely Luxury car, but in this case, it shares a same flaw. The Lincoln Continental, at the mileage of 80,000 started giving Knocking sound. Its was a design flaw which they had fixed.

Now if that Joke of a car QQ is giving ENGINE KNOCK at less than 3,000 KM that is a very serious problem, the Engine will seize quickly in most of these cars and would be a surprise if any of them are still on the road after One to two years.
Second Flaw, the Gear shift.
The gears on this car have a hard shifting. Another problem, right at the metalurgical make up of the gear box. Yes the dealer will tell you it will be ok after few thousand miles, and yes it will be, due to actual gears wearing out soon. For a short period you will have smooth gears and after a year or so, NO gears, as the metal components of this car's gears would have worn out.
Now about THIRD Flaw, electrical. This is the funnies so far. Many people are telling about the DISCO lights and Ghost stereo volume increasing automatically. Now thats a car truely possessed by a devil.
